Dumizay
Colombia
Weaving identity into opportunity.
An Indigenous Êbêra project led by Yasmin and her daughter Yillibeth. Through ancestral craft and storytelling, DUMIZAY creates handmade mochilas and artisan products while promoting education and cultural preservation.
The Community
DUMIZAY is the artisan and tourism initiative of the Êbêra Dovida. Yasmin is a cultural guardian and master weaver. Her daughter Yillibeth studies communications and represents the project in the School of Elevation. Together they blend tradition with digital entrepreneurship and share Êbêra culture through craft and design.
Community Dream
Create a community-led school that teaches ancestral craft, entrepreneurship, and digital skills. Preserve identity while creating sustainable income for families.
What we are co creating
An Indigenous artisan and travel experience where visitors learn weaving, language, and worldview directly from the Êbêra people. With support for digital marketing, logistics, and fair-trade partnerships, DUMIZAY could expand internationally.
Obstacles
• Limited tools and production equipment
• Need for digital storytelling and editing systems
• Access to international buyers and logistics
Our Story Together
We met Yasmin at COP16 in Cali. She stood out immediately for her vision and leadership. Her ideas are clear, practical, and rooted in family and community.

We don’t ask for donations. Instead, we collaborate with communities to co-create physical and digital products, from recipes to experiences, that you can buy, gift, or enjoy.
Every purchase fuels local learning, reinvests into community growth, and supports long-term self-sustainability.
